KIPP ENC’s curriculum is driven by clear performance standards for what students should know and be able to do at each grade level to be successful in the colleges of their choice. For each grade level, standards are based on national and state curriculum frameworks. KIPP ENC uses a wide variety of metrics, such as NC Report Cards, NC Check-Ins, ACT scores, AP exam passing rates, and college completion rates, to measure and reflect on the success of our students and schools.
- 100% of the first ten senior classes at KIPP GCP Pride HS have earned college acceptance to four-year colleges and universities.
- On the ACT, the average composite score for the Class of 2018 was 20.33, exceeding the NC state average.
- 58% of KIPP ENC alumni have graduated from college within 6 years, nearly 5 times the national average for students from low-income communities.
